About Dennis Kocontes

                                    "Landscapes and Seascapes"

​

Kocontes' artistic talent became evident when he began to produce paintings that decorated his high school library.

​

His interest in painting intensified in subsequent years and an apprenticeship under the great artist Litchfield led him to the prolific body of work now on display.

​

A Bachelor of Science Degree, time as a commercial jet pilot and years as owner/captain of commercial fishing boats have provided a background of travel and a "life on the ocean" that is evident in his art.

​

Kocontes' featured artist showings have made his land and seascapes an emerging factor in Southern California Art Galleries' sales.
